Challenges

• The IT team based out of India manages their entire IT estate spread across 3 countries with 7 branches.
• Total IT assets would be around 2500 assets to be managed from a centralized location ensuring the compliance part been taken care. Customer is agile, has not used any IT asset management application so far and was looking for a comprehensive ITAM application which can manage their IT hardware and Software assets spread across the company.
• Along with the asset management, they need to track the IT assets location wise, maintain physical inventory of all assets and adhere to the compliance.

Delivered Solution

• We have implemented Asset Management in the Data Center which will scan all IT Assets in the Network spread cross various locations.
• All IT Hardware and Software asset details are captured through agent based discovery method since we need to fetch the asset details from workgroup systems as well.
• In addition to that, all IT Hardware assets are tagged with a QR-code label,  been scanned and provides the physical mapping of the assets location wise.
• Required reports are generated that makes tracking the assets across locations easy.
